In this Christmas-themed episode, David and Graeme sit down with author Anna James to discuss Christmas traditions, Christmas snacks, Christmas books, and more!
I love milk especially warmed up with honey in it but I've never tired eggnog and I don't think that drinking raw egg in milk is a good Idea. There now Greame has a second opinion backing him up.
Did you just say you've never had eggnog????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There was so much I loved about the author interview, but my favorite thing was the expression “texturally distressing.” I can relate to this difficulty!
Yes, I love E. Nesbit! I really recommend The Wouldbegoods, it’s technically a sequel to The Treasure Seekers but it is hilarious on its own as well. ;)
I really enjoyed it! I think that The Phoenix and the Carpet books were my favourite of hers with a fantasy edge, but The Railway Children will always have my heart. I also really enjoyed her adult novel, The Lark, which was reissued here in the UK a few years ago and is a delight!
I really like oatmilk eggnog. I know that is kinda strange, but I agree Graeme. Normal eggnog is kinda gross! I only drink it maybe twice or three times a year.
I love how we can always tell what Logan thinks of the jokes. 😄
I like that too.
I’m with you Graeme! Milk and eggnog are a no for me!

I've also never had straight eggnog but my dad made eggnog french toast bites and it was very good but eggnog in general sounds disgusting.
milk is fine in cereal but i don't like eggnog
Eggnog is not my favorite either, Graeme!
Yeah I gotta back Graeme up here. No eggnog for me. Ever.
😭
Did Graeme just say he doesn't like eggnog!🤯🤨😶😲
As Ron Weasley once said "are you mental?"
I love that quote!
Gotta love Harry Potter!! Ron’s one of my fave characters
My favorite character is Hermione.
H.P is the best series of books I've ever read in my entire life!
Better than the Lord of the rings?

I totally agree with Graeme! Eggnog and milk is horrible! Especially milk in Cereal.
You people are wrong.
i agree w/ the eggnog but i do like milk in cereal(not by itself though)
There were lots of good dragon stories by Edith Nesbit. This is a Link to an audio book download for the Book of Dragons by Edith Nesbit.

She also wrote the Treasure Seeker series.
It's wonderful isn't it, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the whole thing but of course the Ice Dragon was the most appropriate extract for the anthology!

I’ve never read The Lark! It’s officially on my TBR ;);)
Yes.
I've read the Ice Dragon. it's a great story. Edith Nesbit was a great author.
I can't believe that season 8 is ending so soon!

eggnog is disgusting!!!!!!
I was instructed by my seven year old to write that Eggnog is gross
Something is wrong with your seven year old.🤨
Also, a glass of straight milk sounds GROSS
It “sounds GROSS “?
I have never had eggnog but it sounds very nasty
