I've been looking forward to this episode ever since the call for questions and hoping for a redo of Jonathan Rodgers since the end of season one! Super excited to listen and I'm so glad that everyone is healthy again!
hey, so... did you get my comment about improv storytelling? because, well... I think that story time is going very slow, and if you want to finish story time by the end of the season, then you should take my advice. the definition of improv is: improvising, no going back and changing, kinda just saying the story instead of talking about what should happen. if you just let the story shape itself then maybe it would move quicker and be more interesting. because right now you are just talking about the story and what it should be like, but im going to be completely honest. it isn't much fun. so please please PLEASE take my advice under consideration. listeners, reply to this comment if you agree. because so far story time... isn't really much story.
On the one hand, I agree with you, if you want a story. However, the thing that I personally enjoy about this segment is hearing the thought process, which we wouldn't get if David and Graeme improvised. Maybe we need a compromise? Thought process for 5 minutes and just tell for the other five? I was having the same thoughts as Cole a couple of weeks ago, but then I took what David and Graeme had decided and worked out my own story out of that, and I have been editing that story every week based on what they decide. Now hearing the thought process each week is even better because I get to make my own story better every week. I also feel that hearing the thought process is training me as a writer. When I am writing, I have a hard time with the thought process, and I am not very good at making good endings when I improvise, so I am learning a lot during this story time.
I don’t know… I’m enjoying the nonsense. I’m not sure if effective strategies of narrative are really the point for this particular exercise in goofiness
It would be so cool if you guys made an audio drama of the story and had Withywindle listeners audition 😂

I kind of agree, it is a little slow, but at the same time that is what makes it fun.
